Welcome to the D-Constructing Topics podcast, where we deconstruct topics and discuss many things. In the month we celebrate Women's International Day, we go over one of the most important events that changed the labor movement and workplace safety. On March 25, 1911, a fire took place, which took the lives of factory workers; of those who lost their lives, 146 workers, 123 were women who were planning to organize the factory and fight for better conditions and wages. We discuss this horrific event and its critical time in American history.

Great as always D. Main reason for the deaths was that they were locked in their floors to avoid the women taking even bathroom breaks. A lot of the bodies were found huddled at the doorways and scratch marks on the doors.
